Strictly DJ T. (25 Years Of Strictly Rhythm) (Limited Edition Vinyl One)

Listening notes

Released in 2015, *Strictly DJ T. (25 Years Of Strictly Rhythm) (Limited Edition Vinyl One)* is a four-track vinyl release on Strictly Rhythm, carrying the catalog number SRNYC003EP1. The release sits within the deep house, electronic, and house genres, and was issued as part of a series marking the New York label's twenty-fifth anniversary.

The record presents DJ T. as editor and curator across all four sides. The A-side opens with "Fantasy (Whipped And Turned Mix – DJ T. Edit)" and continues with "Live And Die (Bass Beat – DJ T. Edit)." The B-side carries "Deep Inside (The Dub – DJ T. Edit)" and closes with "Dance To The Rhythm (DJ T. Edit)." Each track title indicates that DJ T. applied his own editorial approach to existing material drawn from the Strictly Rhythm catalog, though the originating artists and original release dates of these tracks are not confirmed here and should be verified before publication.

The limited edition designation in the title suggests this pressing was not intended as a standard wide release, and the "Vinyl One" suffix indicates it is the first in what appears to be a multi-part series tied to the anniversary campaign. Whether additional volumes were released under the same series framework would benefit from confirmation.

Strictly Rhythm has operated as a significant presence in American house music, and this release appears designed to revisit material from within that catalog through the lens of a contributing artist. Specific claims about the label's broader history or DJ T.'s role within it should be independently verified before this draft is finalized.
