DuMonde AKA JamX & De Leon
The Mixes - Vinyl 01

Listening notes

Released in 2004 on Access Tunes, "The Mixes - Vinyl 01" is catalogued under ACCESS 003-12 and credited to DuMonde AKA JamX & De Leon. The release falls within the electronic and hard trance genres and presents three tracks across its two sides.

The A-side carries "Saxuality (DJ JamX & De Leon's DuMonde Remix)," while the B-side is divided between "I Feel Love (DJ JamX & De Leon's DuMonde Remix)" and "Zoo Future (DJ JamX & De Leon's DuMonde Mix)." The parenthetical credits on each track make the project's concept explicit: this is a collection of remixes and mixes produced under the DuMonde alias by DJ JamX and De Leon, with the title "The Mixes - Vinyl 01" suggesting this release may have been conceived as part of a series, though no further volumes are referenced in the available information.

The inclusion of "I Feel Love" is worth noting in context. The song is a well-known composition originally recorded by Donna Summer, and its appearance here as a DuMonde remix places it alongside two other titles in what is presented as a straightforward remix compilation format. "Saxuality" and "Zoo Future" appear on the same release, each bearing remix or mix credits attributed to the same duo.

The format is vinyl, and the release was issued through Access Tunes, a label whose catalog number sequence positions this record at 003 within its twelve-inch output. No durations are documented for any of the three tracks in the available data.
