East 17
Stay Another Day (Ice-Clear Vinyl)

Listening notes

East 17's "Stay Another Day" returns in a 2024 release on London Records, issued on ice-clear vinyl under catalog number LMS1725315. The release presents the track as a single-sided affair in the traditional sense, with the A-side carrying the studio recording of "Stay Another Day" and the B-side offering a live version recorded at Wembley during the Letting Off Steam Tour in May 1995.

The format is straightforward: two versions of the same song, one from the studio and one captured at a specific, documented live event. The Wembley date places the B-side within a particular moment in the group's touring history, giving collectors and fans a concrete point of reference rather than a generic live recording of uncertain origin.

London Records has categorized the release across the Holiday, Light Music, and Pop genres, a combination that reflects the song's long association with the Christmas season while acknowledging its broader pop foundations. The ice-clear vinyl variant is a distinguishing feature of this particular pressing, separating it from standard black vinyl editions that may exist or have existed.

The 2024 release date positions this as a relatively recent reissue, arriving three decades after the Wembley performance documented on the B-side. Track durations are not listed in the available release data, so no running times can be confirmed here.

For collectors building a comprehensive picture of East 17's catalog in physical formats, this pressing represents a specific and identifiable configuration: a named vinyl color, a verified catalog number, a documented live recording location and date, and a major label imprint. Those details are confirmed. Everything else about this release — including any claims about sound, pressing specifics, or market availability — would require independent verification before publication.
