Elden
Zeitschleier Maxi Vinyl

Listening notes

Released in 2011 on Vita Minima Recordings, the Zeitschleier Maxi Vinyl by Elden carries the catalog number Vitanyl 006. The release presents three tracks across its running time: an introductory piece clocking in at one minute and thirty seconds, followed by "Zeitschleier Original" at six minutes and twenty-two seconds, and "Zeitschleier Retouched," the longest offering at ten minutes and forty-six seconds.

The catalog number places this as the sixth release on Vita Minima Recordings, situating it within what appears to be a modestly sized label discography, though no further information about the label's broader output is confirmed here. The maxi single format itself is a practical choice for dance-oriented material, allowing extended track lengths that would be constrained on a standard seven-inch.

Discogs genre tags associated with this release span Electronic, IDM, Minimal, Progressive House, and Psy-Trance, a notably wide range of descriptors that suggests either a release resisting easy categorization or simply a broad application of available genre tags. The presence of both IDM and Psy-Trance alongside Minimal and Progressive House is worth noting for collectors whose interests sit at intersections of these scenes.

The "Retouched" designation on the third track indicates a reworked version of the title piece rather than a straightforward remix credited to a named outside party, though no personnel information is confirmed to clarify who performed or produced either version.

At just over eighteen and a half minutes of total program time across three tracks, this is a compact release by maxi single standards. Collectors interested in early 2010s European electronic vinyl on smaller imprints may find this release of interest, though verified details beyond what is listed above are not available for this draft.
