Elevation (4)
Elevate EP

Listening notes

Released in 2022, the Elevate EP by Elevation (4) arrived on RAM Records under catalog number RAMM005EP2. The release spans four tracks across two sides, presented on vinyl in a format that reflects the label's ongoing commitment to physical media.

The record organizes its material across sides labeled "Other Side" and "This Side" — an understated piece of sequencing that gives the release a self-contained logic on the format. The A-side opens with "Make It Right (Pt. 1)" in the A1 position, followed by "Make It Right (Pt. 2)" at A2, treating the material as a two-part progression rather than discrete, unrelated cuts. The AA-side carries "Take Your Mind" at AA1 and closes with "Another Time" at AA2.

RAM Records, a name long associated with drum and bass, is the imprint behind this release. The Elevate EP sits within genres listed as Electronic, Hardcore, and Jungle — a combination that places it in a lineage of UK dance music rooted in the early 1990s, when those styles were developing in close proximity to one another. Whether the record engages those genres as direct stylistic reference or as broader context is not something the available information settles.

Four tracks, two sides, one extended player: the Elevate EP is a compact release that keeps its structure straightforward. Collectors and researchers working with RAM Records discographies will find it catalogued under RAMM005EP2 as a 2022 vinyl entry. Beyond those documented details, this draft does not speculate on personnel, pressings, or the record's place within either the artist's or the label's wider output, and a fact checker should verify any additional context before publication.
