En-To-End
Money Talks

Listening notes

En-To-End's "Money Talks" arrived in 2021 as a two-sided single on Backatcha Records, catalog number BK-1. The release sits within the Funk / Soul and UK Street Soul genres, presenting both a main version and an alternate cut across its two sides.

The A-side carries the title track at four minutes and fifteen seconds, while the B-side offers the All-Dayer Mix, running a slightly shorter three minutes and twenty-four seconds. The presence of two distinct versions on a single release is a familiar approach within soul and funk circles, giving the record some practical versatility depending on context.

Backatcha Records issued this as catalog number BK-1, which places "Money Talks" at the beginning of the label's sequence. Whether the label has continued beyond this release is not confirmed here, so that observation stands as the extent of what the catalog number itself tells us.

The UK Street Soul designation connects the release to a tradition rooted in British urban soul music, a genre with its own distinct lineage separate from its American counterparts. Beyond the genre tag, no further production or personnel details are available to elaborate on how En-To-End approaches that sound on this particular record.

As a 2021 vinyl release, "Money Talks" represents a physical format commitment at a time when single releases on vinyl remained a deliberate choice rather than a default one. The format itself is the extent of what can be confirmed regarding the physical release; pressing details, edition size, and manufacturing information fall outside the verified facts available here.
