Eva Cassidy
Vinyl Collection

Listening notes

Released in 2014 on Blix Street Records, Eva Cassidy's Vinyl Collection (catalog number BOX-20141) is a box set bringing together material from across her recorded catalog onto vinyl across multiple discs. The set is catalogued under the Pop and Vocal genres.

The box set is organized around five titled discs — Songbird, Time After Time, Imagine, American Tune, and Somewhere — alongside a 12-inch single. Each disc carries its own A and B sides, with the disc title corresponding to one of the tracks included on that record.

The breadth of repertoire across the set is considerable. The tracklist draws from folk, gospel, blues, jazz standards, and popular song, encompassing titles such as "Wade In The Water," "Wayfaring Stranger," "Over The Rainbow," "Ain't No Sunshine," "Woodstock," "Fever," "Who Knows Where The Time Goes," "Danny Boy," "God Bless The Child," "It Don't Mean A Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)," "Chain Of Fools," and "Summertime," among many others. In total, the box set contains more than fifty individual tracks spread across the six records.

The 12-inch single, the final disc in the set, pairs "What A Wonderful World" on the A side with "You Take My Breath Away" on the B side, the latter also appearing in a different timed version on the American Tune disc.

Track durations are provided for the majority of listings, ranging from under three minutes to over five, though durations are absent for the disc title header entries. The set is released under catalog number BOX-20141.
