Fondation
Le Vaisseau Blanc

Listening notes

Released in 2017 on Tunnel Vision Records (catalog number TV001), Le Vaisseau Blanc is the debut release from Fondation on that label. The record's catalog number suggests it inaugurated the Tunnel Vision Records imprint, though no further documentation about the label's history is included here for confirmation.

The album is catalogued across a notably broad range of genres, among them ambient, electronic, experimental, neofolk, synth-pop, and entries under the Folk, World, & Country, Non-Music, and Stage & Screen headings. That last pair of classifications is worth flagging for the fact checker: Non-Music and Stage & Screen are somewhat unusual designations that may reflect specific database tagging decisions rather than straightforward descriptive categories, and their accuracy or intent here would benefit from verification.

The vinyl presents twelve tracks split evenly across two sides. Side A opens with "Mouvement" at 6:41 and moves through "Dérive," "Spirale," "Effervescence," and "Pénombre" before closing with "Le Bal De Grâce" at 4:29. The French-language titles on Side A are joined on Side B by a more mixed vocabulary: "Magic Box" opens the second side at a brief 1:51, followed by "Impressions," "Macumba," "Souviens-toi," and "Pulsion," before the record concludes with "Temple," the longest track at eight minutes.

Total runtime across both sides runs to approximately 56 minutes based on the listed durations, which is a reasonable but not confirmed figure and should be cross-checked against the physical release. The tracklist itself, as reproduced here, is the primary verified element of this entry. All other details — personnel, recording information, pressing specifications, and any contextual background — remain unconfirmed and are withheld from this draft pending further documentation.
