Friday Night Posse
Volume 5

Listening notes

Friday Night Posse's Volume 5 arrived in 2001 on the Friday Night Posse Shield label, carrying catalog number VINYL 5. The release is a vinyl single or EP sitting within the electronic and trance genres, containing three tracks spread across its two sides.

The A side is occupied entirely by "Push Ce Ce's World," while the AA side carries two tracks: "U Got Temptation" at position AA1 and "Silent Rain Falls" at AA2. The use of the AA designation rather than a conventional B side label is a formatting choice sometimes associated with promotional or club-oriented releases of the period, though no specific context for that choice is confirmed here.

The catalog number VINYL 5 and the title Volume 5 together suggest this release sits within a numbered series, implying that at least four prior entries appeared under the Friday Night Posse Shield imprint before this installment. Whether the series continued beyond this point is not confirmed by the available information.

The trance genre was a significant commercial and club force in 2001, with the electronic umbrella covering a wide range of styles that fed dancefloors across Europe and beyond during that period. Volume 5 was released into that environment, though specific details about its production, the individuals involved, or its reception are not available from the verified facts on hand.

No track durations are recorded in the available data, and no additional personnel or label detail beyond what is listed here can be confirmed at this stage.
