Giedré
Ma PReMièRe CoMPiL' (eN ViNYLe)

Listening notes

Released in 2014 on the French independent label Le Rat Des Villes, Ma PReMièRe CoMPiL' (eN ViNYLe) by Giedré carries the catalog number Bulvé011 and sits within the chanson and pop genres. As the title suggests, this is a compilation presented in vinyl format, gathering eighteen tracks onto a single release.

The tracklist itself signals something of the artist's sensibility. Song titles such as "Ferme ta gueule et apporte moi une bière," "Pisser debout," "Toutes des putes," "Ode à la contraception," and "On fait tous caca" sit alongside entries with markedly different registers — "Jolie chanson," "L'amour à l'envers," and "Les petits secrets" among them. The juxtaposition, visible even at the level of the track listing, places provocative and blunt language next to more conventionally framed titles, a contrast that runs across all eighteen selections. The record's own title, rendered in deliberately scrambled capitalization, extends this irreverent quality to the packaging itself.

The label, Le Rat Des Villes, is a French independent operation, and the release represents the label's eleventh catalog entry under the Bulvé prefix. No track durations are documented in the available data.

For reference purposes, this is a straightforward compilation issue: eighteen tracks, vinyl format, one artist, one label, one catalog number, one year. Collectors and researchers working from this entry should note that personnel, pressing details, and any additional release variants are not confirmed in the source data and would require independent verification before being reported.
