Gouryella
Ligaya (Part 2 Of A 2 Vinyl Set)

Listening notes

Gouryella's "Ligaya" arrived as a two-part vinyl release on Kontor Records in 2002, and this second installment — catalogued as K 279 — collects three versions of the track across two sides of a single record. The release sits within the electronic, trance, and hard trance genres, placing it squarely in the club-oriented output that defined much of Kontor's catalog during that period.

Side A carries a single entry: the Ferry Corsten Remix, running at eight minutes and thirty-eight seconds. Corsten, one half of the Gouryella project alongside Tiësto, contributes his own reworking here, making this an instance of an artist remixing material from his own collaborative project — a detail worth noting for those cataloguing the release. Side B holds two tracks. The Green Court Remix opens at nine minutes and nine seconds, the longest of the three versions presented across this record. Closing the release is the Extended Vocal Version at seven minutes and twenty-eight seconds, a format that foregrounds the vocal element of the original composition in a longer running time suited to the vinyl format.

As the second part of a two-vinyl set, this pressing is intended to be considered alongside its companion release rather than as a standalone document. Collectors and researchers sourcing the complete "Ligaya" release in its original 2002 Kontor form will need both parts to account for the full spread of versions issued at that time.

The catalog number K 279 and the Kontor Records imprint are the primary reference points for identifying this specific pressing. Any further documentation — including matrix information, pressing plant details, or variant pressings — would require physical inspection of the record itself and falls outside what can be confirmed here.
