Gruppo Sportivo
Vinylly!

Listening notes

Gruppo Sportivo's *Vinylly!* was released in 2019 by Music On Vinyl under catalog number MOVLP2076. Issued on vinyl, it is categorized under the pop genre and spans four sides across what the track count confirms is a double LP format, collecting thirty-one tracks in total.

The sequencing places eight tracks on each of sides A and B, seven on side C, and seven on side D. Running times across the set vary considerably, from the brief 1:46 of "Ramona" on side A to the more expansive 4:51 of "If Beauty Is" on side D. Several titles carry a wry or self-referential quality on their face — "Happily Unemployed," "I Shot My Manager," "Disco Really Made It!," and the release title itself, *Vinylly!*, among them — though what context surrounds those choices is not addressed here.

The tracklist includes "Blue Moon" and "Mexican Radio," titles associated with other recordings by other artists, though no information is available here regarding whether these are covers, originals, or coincidental shared titles, and no claim is made on that point.

Side A opens with "My Old Cortina" at 3:05 and closes with "(Gimme A) Break" at 2:31. Side D closes the record with "She Was Pretty (Normal Then)" at 2:48. The total program is substantial for a pop release, with many individual tracks falling under three minutes.

Music On Vinyl is a Netherlands-based reissue label. No further detail about the nature of this specific release — whether it constitutes a compilation, a reissue of a prior release, or original material — can be confirmed from the available facts and is therefore not stated here.
