In Perfection
Expression / Dark Manoeveres

Listening notes

In Perfection released a three-track vinyl single in 2020 under the catalog number WYHS-025FEAR. The release carries no label affiliation, appearing instead under the self-released designation "Not On Label," a common classification for independently distributed records issued without a commercial imprint.

The record is structured across two sides. The A-side presents a single track, "Expression," while the AA-side holds two tracks: "Expression (Fear Mix)" and "Dark Manoeveres." The inclusion of a mix variant of the lead track alongside a second original composition gives the release a modest range of material across its playing surface. Track durations are not documented.

Genrically, the release sits at the intersection of breakbeat, electronic, hardcore, and jungle — a cluster of styles with overlapping histories in UK dance music. That the catalog number incorporates the word "FEAR" may suggest a thematic or series-based organizational logic on the part of the artist, though this cannot be confirmed from the available information alone.

As a self-released vinyl record, WYHS-025FEAR represents a mode of independent production that has remained viable in electronic music circles. Beyond what the catalog data provides — artist name, title, format, year, label status, catalog number, genre tags, and tracklist — no further details about the release are confirmed here.
