Inon Zur
Fallout 3 - 10th Anniversary Ultimate Edition Vinyl Soundtrack

Listening notes

Released in 2019 by Spacelab9, the Fallout 3 10th Anniversary Ultimate Edition Vinyl Soundtrack (catalog number SL9-2059-1-7) is a box set collecting music from Bethesda's 2008 role-playing game. The release is organized across eight sides of vinyl, designated A through H, and encompasses two distinct bodies of material: an original score composed by Inon Zur and a selection of licensed period recordings presented under the heading Galaxy News Radio Tracks.

Zur's score occupies sides A through F, spanning twenty-nine tracks. The compositions carry titles that reflect the game's post-apocalyptic setting — "Wandering The Wastes," "City Of Ruin," "Ashes And Sand" — alongside more action-oriented cues such as "Ambush," "Behemoth," and "Think Fast, Shoot Faster." Run times across the score range from just over a minute for shorter pieces on side A to just over four minutes for "Pieces Of The Past," the final track on side D.

Sides G and H are given over to the Galaxy News Radio material, comprising ten tracks drawn from the mid-twentieth century American popular songbook. Titles include "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire," "Anything Goes," "Butcher Pete (Part 1)," "Easy Living," and "A Wonderful Guy," among others. The release assigns these tracks genres including Easy Listening, Jazz, Smooth Jazz, and Swing, distinguishing them from the Score and Soundtrack classifications applied to the set overall.

The box set's catalog number, eight-sided structure, and anniversary framing are the defining documented characteristics of this release. Collectors and researchers should verify additional details — including specific pressing information — through primary sources.
