Listening notes
Released in 2019 by Spacelab9 (catalog number SL9-2034-1-8), this deluxe vinyl box set collects Inon Zur's score for Fallout 4 across twelve records, spanning sides A through L. The release is cataloged under the genres of ambient, electronic, modern classical, score, soundtrack, stage and screen, and video game music.
The sheer scale of the set is its most immediately quantifiable characteristic. Sixty-five tracks are distributed across the twelve sides, with individual pieces ranging in duration from under two minutes to over five. The tracklist is organized around a recurring structural motif: multiple "Wandering" suites, each subdivided by location — The Blasted Forest, The City, The Foothills, The Glowing Sea, and The Coast — appear throughout the sequence, spread across different sides rather than grouped together. Whether this sequencing reflects the original in-game deployment of the material or represents a curatorial decision specific to this release is a question the verified facts here do not resolve.
Longer individual tracks include "The Last Mariner" at 5:24, "Endless Ocean, Endless Dreams" at 5:33, and "Rebuild, Renew" at 6:11, the latter being the single longest track on the set. The closing side ends with "Fallout 4 Main Theme ('Spinner' Mix)" at 2:49, a variant of the "Main Theme" that opens side A at 3:02, giving the collection a degree of formal symmetry.
This draft is unreviewed. Personnel, pressing details, edition size, and any claims about sound or collectibility require independent verification before publication.
