Jean Claude Gavri / Dimitri From Paris
Share That Beat Of Love (JCV Vinyl Mix) / Greece Is The Word

Listening notes

Released in 2015 on Ebo Records, this twelve-inch single brings together two artists working within the disco and electronic genres. The A-side presents Jean Claude Gavri's "Share That Beat Of Love (JCV Vinyl Mix)," while the B-side offers Dimitri From Paris with "Greece Is The Word." The release carries the catalog number dftedits003, placing it as the third entry in what the numbering suggests is an edits series on the label.

The pairing of Jean Claude Gavri and Dimitri From Paris on a single release connects two names associated with disco-leaning electronic music, though the specific nature of their collaboration or individual contributions beyond the credited tracks is not detailed in the available documentation. The title of the A-side explicitly identifies the mix as a vinyl version, which the "JCV Vinyl Mix" designation makes plain, indicating this particular rendering of the track was conceived with the format in mind. Duration information for both tracks is not currently on record.

Ebo Records, identified here as the issuing label, released this as a physical vinyl pressing, consistent with the broader resurgence of interest in the format that characterized the mid-2010s marketplace for disco and electronic music. The catalog sequence suggested by dftedits003 implies earlier releases in the same series exist, which may be of interest to collectors and researchers tracing the label's output.
