Listening notes

Released in 2012 on Play It Down, Sample Pleasures Vinyl 1 is a four-track vinyl release from Jesse Rose and Oliver $, catalogued as PID013. The record sits within the electronic, house, and tech house genres, and represents a collaborative effort between the two artists under that shared imprint.

The release is structured across two sides. Side A opens with "Come For Me Dub" before moving into the title track, "Sample Pleasures." Side B carries "Changes Them" in the first position, closing out with "Parked." Track durations are not documented here.

Play It Down is the label behind the release, and PID013 places this record at a specific point within that catalog's numbering sequence, which may be of interest to collectors tracking the label's output chronologically. The Vinyl 1 designation in the title suggests this release was conceived as part of a series, though details of any accompanying volumes fall outside the scope of what can be confirmed here.

Jesse Rose has been an active figure in house and tech house circles, and Oliver $ is similarly associated with those genres, making the collaboration a meeting of producers working within a shared stylistic territory. Beyond that framing, no additional verified details about the recording, the personnel involved, or the specific context of this release are available to draw on.

For collectors and researchers, the confirmed details are these: a 2012 vinyl release on Play It Down, catalog number PID013, credited to Jesse Rose and Oliver $, containing four tracks across two sides. Any further claims about this record should be independently verified before publication.
