Jocelyn Enriquez
A Little Bit Of Ecstasy (Vinyl 2)

Listening notes

Released in 1997 on Classified Records, "A Little Bit Of Ecstasy (Vinyl 2)" is a 12-inch single from Jocelyn Enriquez carrying catalog number CLA-0190-0. As the designation "Vinyl 2" suggests, this release exists as part of a multi-volume vinyl series built around the same track, offering an alternate set of mixes for the format's dedicated audience.

The record spans three versions across two sides. The A-side is occupied entirely by the Booker T Vox Dub, a single extended cut running 8 minutes and 55 seconds. The B-side carries two mixes: the Deeper Mix at 8 minutes flat, followed by the 12" Mix at 6 minutes and 27 seconds. The sequencing gives the A-side to a single, lengthy interpretation while the B-side divides its runtime between two distinct takes, providing a measure of variety within the format's physical constraints.

Classified Records positioned this release across four genre categories: Electro, Electronic, Garage House, and Progressive House. That range reflects the stylistic conversation happening within dance music at the time, particularly around 1997, when club-oriented genres were overlapping and cross-pollinating with some frequency. The presence of both Garage House and Progressive House in the genre tags points to a release designed with dancefloor utility in mind, with extended running times on each cut suited to DJ programming.

The Booker T credit attached to the A-side mix identifies a named remix contributor, though no additional personnel details are confirmed by the available data. Beyond what the tracklist and catalog information establish, the specifics of this release's production context remain outside the scope of verified facts here.

For collectors and researchers, this record represents a documented entry in Jocelyn Enriquez's 1997 discography, cataloged under a label and number that allow for straightforward identification within dance music archives.
