Joe T. Vannelli
Joe T Vannelli EP (Vinyl Dubs)

Listening notes

Released in 2008 on Dream Beat (catalog number DB 261), the Joe T Vannelli EP (Vinyl Dubs) is a vinyl release from Italian producer Joe T. Vannelli. The record sits across genres catalogued as Deep House, Electronic, and Tribal House.

The EP carries three tracks spread across its two sides. The A-side is devoted entirely to "Harlem (Mark Knight Dub)," a single track running 8 minutes and 17 seconds. Mark Knight, a British DJ and producer associated with the Toolroom Records imprint, is credited here with a dub version of the track, though the nature of his involvement beyond that remix credit is not documented in the available information. The B-side opens with "Attention (JTV Dub)" at 3 minutes and 38 seconds, followed by "Attention (Original Acappella)" at 33 seconds. The parenthetical JTV in the second track's title is consistent with an abbreviation of Vannelli's own initials, suggesting his direct hand in that version.

The inclusion of a 33-second acappella as a discrete vinyl cut is a practical detail worth noting for DJs working with the record, as such short vocal segments are typically intended as mixing tools rather than standalone listening pieces. Beyond that functional observation, the tracklist reflects a structure common to dance-oriented twelve-inch releases of the period, pairing a prominent remix on the A-side with original or alternative versions on the B-side.

No additional personnel, production credits, pressing details, or distribution information are available from the verified data for this release. Fact checkers should confirm whether further sleeve credits exist before expanding on any aspect of this entry.
