Joey Negro
Locked In The Vinyl Cellar (Bonus Tracks)

Listening notes

Released in 2009 on Z Records, "Locked In The Vinyl Cellar (Bonus Tracks)" is catalogued under the number ZEDDCD015 PROMO and issued in CDr format. The release carries a promo designation, indicating it was not made available through standard retail channels.

The disc collects thirteen tracks spanning genres listed as disco, electronic, funk, funk/soul, and house — a combination that broadly reflects the stylistic range associated with the Joey Negro name. Three of the thirteen tracks are identified specifically as Joey Negro edits: "Ivory Symphony," "Summer In The Parks," and "Dance Lover," with those edit credits noted directly in the track titles. The remaining ten tracks — among them "D.I.Y Disco," "Kate Did," "Jungle Juk (TSOP)," "Move With The Dawn," "I'm Gay," "I Wanna Dance," "Space Talk," "My Love Turns To Liquid," "Love Overture," and "Strange" — carry no such designation in the available catalogue data. No track durations are listed in the release data for any of the thirteen selections.

The release is attributed to Z Records, the UK label with which Joey Negro has a long-standing association. As a CDr promo, the physical format is a recordable compact disc rather than a commercially pressed disc, which is consistent with promotional distribution practices of the period.

No additional personnel, recording, or production credits are present in the available data for this release. Collectors and researchers seeking further detail on individual tracks or their origins would need to consult supplementary documentation beyond what the catalogue entry provides.
