Junior Jack
Stupidisco (Part 1 Of A 2 Vinyl Set)

Listening notes

Junior Jack's "Stupidisco (Part 1 Of A 2 Vinyl Set)" was released in 2004 on the Noise Traxx label under catalog number PIASB 127 T. As its title indicates, this vinyl release represents the first of a two-part set, with the material spread across what is presented here as a single disc component of a larger package.

The record sits at the intersection of disco, electronic, and house music, the three genres under which it is catalogued. That combination points to the broader stylistic territory Junior Jack was working within during this period, drawing on disco's foundational energy while routing it through electronic and house production frameworks.

The two sides of the record carry distinct labels. The A side is designated the "Logo Side" and contains the "Stupidisco (Extended Original Version)," which runs to eight minutes and seven seconds. The B side, labelled "This Side," presents the "Hott 22 Main Vocal Mix," clocking in at seven minutes and thirty-nine seconds. Both versions of the track offer substantial run times consistent with the demands of extended dance floor play, though the nature of the listening experience those durations provide falls outside what the available information can confirm.

The naming convention used for the two sides — "Logo Side" and "This Side" — is a notable detail recorded in the release data, though what it reflects about the physical design of the pressing itself cannot be determined from the facts at hand.

As Part 1 of a two-vinyl set, this record is understood to be incomplete without its companion release. Collectors and researchers working with this title should account for that context when cataloguing or evaluating the release as a whole.
