Kate Bush
Remastered In Vinyl I

Listening notes

Released in 2018 on Kate Bush's own Fish People label, Remastered In Vinyl I carries catalog number 0190295593964 and collects four of her studio albums across a four-LP box set. The package brings together The Kick Inside, Lionheart, Never For Ever, and The Dreaming, presenting each album on its own vinyl disc and spanning sides A through H.

The Kick Inside occupies sides A and B, its fourteen tracks running from "Moving" through to the closing title track. Lionheart follows on sides C and D, opening with "Symphony In Blue" and concluding with "Hammer Horror." Never For Ever fills sides E and F, beginning with "Babooshka" and ending with "Breathing." The Dreaming rounds out the set on sides G and H, opening with "Sat In Your Lap" and closing with "Get Out Of My House."

Across the four albums, the tracklisting draws from a wide range of the catalog Bush had built through the late 1970s and into the early 1980s. The set's genre tags on record databases list Art Rock, Electronic, Pop, Pop Rock, Prog Rock, and Rock, reflecting the span of material gathered here rather than a single defining sound.

The box set is labeled as remastered, as the title makes plain, though the verified facts on hand do not include specific details about the mastering process, the engineers involved, or the pressing specifications. Collectors and researchers interested in those particulars would need to consult the physical packaging or additional documentation directly.

Remastered In Vinyl I is the first of what the title implies is a series, suggesting at least one further volume covering other parts of Bush's discography, though no details about subsequent volumes are contained within the verified data for this release.
