Kate Bush
Remastered In Vinyl II

Listening notes

Released in 2018 on Kate Bush's own Fish People label, Remastered In Vinyl II (catalog number 0190295593957) is a vinyl box set collecting three of her studio albums across four records: Hounds Of Love, The Sensual World, and The Red Shoes. The set is formatted across sides A through H, with each album occupying its allotted sides in sequence.

Hounds Of Love fills sides A and B. Side A carries the five tracks that make up the album's first half, including "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)," "Hounds Of Love," "The Big Sky (7" Mix)," "Mother Stands For Comfort," and "Cloudbusting." Side B presents the seven-track suite known as The Ninth Wave in full, from "And Dream Of Sheep" through to "The Morning Fog."

The Sensual World occupies sides C and D, running from the title track through "This Woman's Work," with ten tracks spread across the two sides. The Red Shoes follows on sides E through H, its twelve tracks distributed across four sides, closing the set with "You're The One."

The genres listed for this release span art rock, electronic, pop, pop rock, prog rock, and rock, reflecting the breadth of the three albums gathered here. The box set title explicitly identifies these as remastered editions, though the verified data does not include specifics regarding the remastering process or the engineers involved.
