KELTEK
The Vinyl Collection 01

Listening notes

KELTEK's The Vinyl Collection 01 was released in 2022 on Scantraxx under catalog number SCVC002. The release is a four-track vinyl record spanning two sides, falling within the electronic and hardstyle genres.

Side A opens with "Dark Sun," running five minutes and four seconds, followed by "Through The Night" at three minutes and twenty-six seconds. Side B carries "Down To Earth," the longest track on the release at six minutes and two seconds, and closes with "Kingdom Comes" at four minutes and thirty-four seconds.

The catalog number SCVC002 positions this release as the second entry in Scantraxx's Vinyl Collection series, suggesting the label had established a dedicated framework for vinyl output by the time this record appeared. Scantraxx is a label associated with the hardstyle genre, and this release sits within that broader context.

The four-track format and the distribution of running times across both sides reflect a structure common to 12-inch vinyl releases, where side lengths are shaped by the constraints of the format. The total runtime across all four tracks amounts to just under nineteen minutes, which is a reasonable spread for a release of this type.

The Vinyl Collection 01 is a straightforward document of KELTEK material presented in a physical format during a period when vinyl continued to hold relevance for electronic music communities alongside digital distribution. Beyond the basic details of its tracklist, label origin, and year of release, little else can be stated here without risk of speculation.
