Kenny Carpenter / Black & White Brothers
Heaven Knows / Bang It Out (Coloured Vinyl)

Listening notes

Released in 2011 on Tony Records, this coloured vinyl single pairs two artists across its A and B sides. The catalog number TR 1015 brings together Kenny Carpenter and Black & White Brothers under the broader umbrella of electronic and house music.

The A side presents "Heaven Knows" in a vocal remix handled by Erick Cupper. The B side is divided between two versions of "Bang It Out": an Extended Mix occupying the B1 position, and the B2 slot given to Aldo Kapone's "Track It Out" Mix. The inclusion of multiple mixes across a single release is a recognizable format within house music, where remix culture has long shaped how tracks reach their audience on wax.

The release is pressed on coloured vinyl, a physical distinction noted in the release specifications. Beyond that detail, the format is standard vinyl, situating the record within a period when house music continued to maintain a presence on physical formats alongside the growing dominance of digital distribution.

Tony Records, carrying the catalog number sequence that places TR 1015 within a numbered series, serves as the issuing label for this release. The three listed tracks — one remix of "Heaven Knows" and two versions of "Bang It Out" — represent the complete documented tracklist for this pressing.

This draft has been prepared from verified catalog data only and has not been reviewed for additional context regarding the artists, label history, or the individual remixers. A fact checker should confirm all details against a physical copy or authoritative discography source before publication.
