Kyau & Albert
Not With You (Vinyl 1)

Listening notes

Kyau & Albert released "Not With You" as a vinyl single in 2004 through Euphonic, the catalog number logged as EUPH 041. The release falls under the electronic, trance, and progressive trance genres, positioning it within a scene that was generating considerable label activity during that period.

The record is designated Vinyl 1, a detail that suggests the release was part of a multi-part series, though the contents of any companion volumes are not addressed here. Three versions of the track appear across the two sides. The A-side carries the Ronski Speed Vocal Mix, credited to a remixer working within the same broad trance ecosystem as the duo. The B-side divides into two cuts: the KvA Hard Dub and the Album Version. The KvA designation in the Hard Dub title likely references Kyau & Albert themselves, though this is an inference drawn from the artists' known abbreviated handle rather than a verified credit on this release.

Euphonic was an imprint operating in the trance space during the early-to-mid 2000s, and EUPH 041 places this release within what was evidently a catalog of some depth by 2004. Beyond that catalog position, no additional label context is supplied by the available data.

Duration information for all three tracks is absent from the verified record, which limits how much can be said about the shape or structure of this particular pressing. What the release does confirm is a straightforward single format built around multiple interpretations of one composition, a common and practical approach for dance-oriented vinyl intended for DJ use.
