Le Forbici Di Manitù
Let's Network Together / Vinyl Love Junkie

Listening notes

Le Forbici Di Manitù released this two-sided vinyl single on Arte Postale! in 1992, catalogued as AP!63. The record presents two tracks: "Let's Network Together" on the A-side and "Vinyl Love Junkie" on the B-side, with no running times documented for either.

Arte Postale! was an Italian label associated with the mail art and cassette culture networks that emerged across Europe during the 1980s, and this release sits within that broader independent context. The genres assigned to the release — electro, electronic, new wave, and pop — suggest a project working across several stylistic categories that were themselves in flux during the early 1990s, though what specific combination these tracks represent is not something the available facts can confirm in detail.

The title of the A-side, "Let's Network Together," carries a phrase that would have carried particular resonance within the mail art and underground communication scenes of the period, where the idea of networking among artists and labels was both a practical reality and something of an ethos. Whether the title is a direct reference to that world or something else entirely is not established here. The B-side title, "Vinyl Love Junkie," is notable in that it names the very format on which it appears, though again, what that choice signifies is a matter for interpretation rather than documented fact.

This is a 1992 vinyl release on a small independent Italian label. Collectors and researchers interested in the Arte Postale! catalog, or in the intersection of European electronic and new wave production with independent label culture of that era, may find this single a useful point of reference. Duration information and personnel details are not available in the current documentation and would require further verification.
