Leo Cap
Underground Business LP (Vinyl Album Sampler)

Listening notes

Released in 2023 on the Deep, Dark And Dangerous label, Leo Cap's Underground Business LP (Vinyl Album Sampler) carries the catalog number DDDLP8 and arrives as a four-track vinyl release operating within the dubstep and electronic genres.

The record is structured across two sides. Side A opens with "Manchesta Dem Boy," running at four minutes and thirty-seven seconds, followed by "Low Key Sense," which extends to five minutes and thirty-seven seconds. Side B holds "Music That You Like" at five minutes and fifteen seconds, closing out with "Same Different" at five minutes and forty-one seconds. The total runtime across the four tracks sits at just over twenty-one minutes, a runtime consistent with a sampler format rather than a full-length album, as the release title itself makes explicit.

The designation as a sampler is worth noting for collectors and cataloguers. The Underground Business LP Sampler sits within a tradition of labels issuing vinyl samplers to represent a larger project or catalog, though no additional details about a corresponding full release are confirmed here. What is confirmed is the release's home on Deep, Dark And Dangerous, a label whose name and catalog numbering suggest an established discography, with DDDLP8 indicating at least eight entries in their vinyl catalog.

For those indexing or researching this release, the genre classifications of dubstep and electronic provide the primary sonic framework as documented. Beyond the tracklist, runtime, label, catalog number, and year of release, further claims about this record fall outside what the available documentation supports. This draft is unreviewed and should be verified before publication.
