Limit (4), Asymmetric
Dissymmetrical Vinyl 07

Listening notes

Dissymmetrical Vinyl 07 is a 2023 vinyl release on Dissymmetrical Music, catalogued as DSSMV07. The record is credited to Limit (4) and Asymmetric, and sits within the genres of Drum n Bass, Electronic, and Jungle.

The release is a four-track, two-sided record. The A-side opens with "Choppage (Remix)" and is followed by "Unity (Remix)," with both tracks presented in remix form. The B-side carries two titles, "Tell Me" and "Tonight," rounding out the release across its four positions. Track durations are not listed.

As the catalog number suggests, this is the seventh entry in the Dissymmetrical Vinyl series from Dissymmetrical Music, placing the release within an ongoing run of vinyl output from the label. The presence of two remixed tracks on the A-side alongside two additional titles on the B-side gives the record a mixed character in terms of its content, though no information is available here regarding who produced the remixes or what the originals were.

The genres of Drum n Bass and Jungle place the release within a tradition of UK-rooted electronic music that has maintained a dedicated vinyl culture across decades, and the continued use of the format for this kind of material in 2023 reflects an ongoing commitment to physical release within those scenes. Beyond what the catalog data confirms, this entry provides no further verified details regarding personnel, pressing specifications, or additional release variants.
