Limit (4), Asymmetric, If-Read
Dissymmetrical Vinyl 06

Listening notes

Dissymmetrical Music continued its run of physical releases in 2022 with the sixth installment in its vinyl series, catalogued as DSSMV06. The release arrives credited to three acts — Limit (4), Asymmetric, and If-Read — bringing together a trio of contributors across a standard two-sided record.

The format follows the series' established approach of presenting electronic music on vinyl, with the release falling across the genres of Drum n Bass, Jungle, and Electronic. Side A opens with "Starry Sky" followed by "Reality," while Side B carries "Other Souls" and closes with "Take A Rest." The four-track layout gives each side a pair of cuts, a structure well suited to the format.

As the sixth entry under the Dissymmetrical Music imprint, DSSMV06 sits within a numbered catalogue that documents the label's ongoing commitment to releasing this strand of electronic music in physical form. The Drum n Bass and Jungle genres it occupies have long maintained a dedicated vinyl following, and the Dissymmetrical series places itself squarely within that tradition of format-conscious releasing.

Track durations are not listed in the available documentation, so the overall running time of the record cannot be stated here and should be confirmed before publication. Similarly, specific personnel credits beyond the three listed artists are not available from the current source data and may warrant further verification.

Collectors and listeners interested in the Dissymmetrical Music catalogue should note this release by its catalog number, DSSMV06, to distinguish it within the numbered series. The involvement of three separate artists across four tracks suggests a various-artists or collaborative structure, though the precise nature of each artist's contribution to individual tracks has not been confirmed in the available facts and should be clarified by a fact checker before this draft is finalized.
