Louie Vega
Mix The Vibe (Vinyl Collection 2)

Listening notes

Louie Vega's Mix The Vibe (Vinyl Collection 2) was released in 2007 on BPM King Street Sounds, carrying the catalog number KSS 1243. The release is a four-track vinyl spread across two sides, positioning it within the electronic, garage house, and house genres that have long been associated with Vega's work as a DJ and producer.

The A-side opens with "Casio's Theme" before moving into "The Way I Feel (4 Daye Club)," a title whose parenthetical suggests a club-oriented edit, though no further production detail is confirmed here. The B-side carries "I Can't Believe I Loved Her (Calypso Mix)," where the subtitle again points to a specific mix variant, and closes with "Brighter Days (Original Mix)," identified explicitly as an original mix. Track durations are not available for any of the four selections.

The release sits within the Mix The Vibe series, of which this is the second vinyl collection installment, as the title directly indicates. King Street Sounds, through its BPM imprint, served as the releasing label, and the label has a documented history operating within the house music space. Beyond these structural facts, no additional verified information regarding personnel, recording circumstances, or pressing details is available to this draft.

For collectors and researchers approaching this record, the confirmed facts are the label, catalog number, year, format, genre classifications, and the four track titles with their respective side assignments. Any further claims about this release should be verified against primary sources before publication.
