Lovestern Galaktika Project Meets Pulsedriver & Ole Van Dansk
Move For Freedom (Vinyl 2)

Listening notes

Released in 2002 on Polydor, catalog number 570 866-1, this twelve-inch single from Lovestern Galaktika Project Meets Pulsedriver & Ole Van Dansk presents two remixes of "Move For Freedom" across its two sides. The release is designated as Vinyl 2, indicating it formed part of a multi-part single series, a common format in European dance music releases of the period.

The A-side carries the DJs @ Work Remix, running at seven minutes and thirteen seconds, while the B-side presents the Pulsedriver Remix at six minutes and six seconds. The involvement of Pulsedriver both as a credited collaborator in the artist name and as a remixer on the B-side is a notable feature of the release's construction. DJs @ Work appear here in a remix capacity, reworking the track for the A-side.

The release sits within the Electronic, Hands Up, and Trance genres, categories that were prominent within European club and dance culture at the turn of the millennium. Hands Up, sometimes associated with the German and central European dancefloor scenes of that era, frequently appeared on major and major-distributed labels, and Polydor's involvement here reflects the commercial profile such releases could achieve during this period.

The two remixes together account for just over thirteen minutes of material, offering the extended running times typical of dance-oriented twelve-inch vinyl intended for DJ use. The Pulsedriver Remix, at just over six minutes, is the shorter of the two, while the DJs @ Work Remix provides the longer version on the A-side.
