Mario Più
Communication (Remix-Vinyl)

Listening notes

Mario Più's "Communication (Remix-Vinyl)" was released in 1999 on Media Records under catalog number BXRG 1073R-12. The release sits across genres catalogued as Electronic, Hard Trance, Hardstyle, and Techno, reflecting the stylistic range that characterized much of the Italian electronic music output circulating on twelve-inch format during that period.

The record presents three distinct mixes of "Communication" spread across its two sides. The A-side, designated the Logo Side, carries the Communication (Picotto Remix) at six minutes and thirty-eight seconds. The B-side, labeled This Side, contains two mixes: the Communication (Mas Mix) at seven minutes and twelve seconds in the B1 position, followed by the Communication (More Mix) at five minutes and fifty-five seconds in the B2 position. The total running time across all three mixes amounts to just under twenty minutes of material.

The structure of the release follows a format common to remix singles of the era, offering multiple interpretations of a single track rather than pairing it with unrelated material. The naming of the sides — Logo Side and This Side — is a detail worth noting for collectors attempting to orient themselves when handling the record.

Media Records was an Italian label with a documented presence in the electronic dance market during the late 1990s, and this release falls within that period of activity. The catalog number BXRG 1073R-12 follows the label's standard twelve-inch designation conventions.
