Micky Dolenz
King For A Day (15th Anniversary Gold Vinyl)

Listening notes

Friday Music has issued a 15th anniversary edition of Micky Dolenz's *King For A Day* on gold vinyl in 2025, carrying the catalog number FRM-03307. The release is classified under the genres of light music and pop.

The album spreads across two sides, each carrying seven tracks. Side A opens with "Don't Bring Me Down" and continues through "Sometime In The Morning," "Hey Girl," "Up On The Roof," "Take Good Care Of My Baby," "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," and "Sweet Seasons." Side B begins with "Crying In The Rain" and moves through "Go Away Little Girl," "Just Once In My Life," "It Might As Well Rain Until September," "Point Of No Return," and "I Feel The Earth Move," closing with a reprise of "Sometime In The Morning." The tracklist totals fourteen selections.

Listeners familiar with the American popular songbook will recognize several of these titles as songs associated with writers including Carole King and Gerry Goffin, among others, though the specifics of the arrangements or performances on this recording are not addressed here. Track durations are not listed for this pressing.

The 15th anniversary designation indicates the original album was first released in 2010, making this 2025 vinyl edition a commemorative reissue from Friday Music, a label that has issued anniversary pressings of various catalog titles. Beyond the gold vinyl format and the anniversary framing, no additional release details have been confirmed for this draft.
