Micropoint
Dirty Vinyl

Listening notes

Micropoint's "Dirty Vinyl" is a four-track vinyl release issued on B.E.A.S.T. Records under catalog number B.E.A.S.T. 002. The release sits within the electronic and hardcore genres, a pairing that shaped a particular strain of aggressive, machine-driven music that found its footing in underground club culture. A release date has not been confirmed for this record.

The two-sided pressing follows a straightforward structure. The A-side opens with the title track, "Dirty Vinyl," followed by "Human Freak Box." The B-side carries "Metal Head" and closes with "Schizophrenic Park." Track durations are not documented in the available information.

Micropoint is the project of French producer Guillaume Chabloz, a figure associated with the harder end of the European electronic music scene and with the development of what became known as french core or terror, subgenres that pushed tempo and texture toward their limits. B.E.A.S.T. Records served as a vehicle for this kind of output, and "Dirty Vinyl" appears as the label's second catalog entry, suggesting an early position in the imprint's release history.

Beyond these structural details, the verified record for this release is limited. The absence of confirmed personnel credits, a release year, and track timings means that a fuller picture of the record's context remains incomplete pending additional documentation. Researchers and collectors looking to place this release more precisely within Micropoint's discography or within the B.E.A.S.T. Records catalog may find that cross-referencing physical copies, label correspondence, or period publications yields more complete information than is currently available here.
