Mirco de Govia
Chronoscale (Vinyl Edition Part 1/3)

Listening notes

Mirco de Govia's Chronoscale (Vinyl Edition Part 1/3) was released in 2003 on the euphonic label under catalog number euphonic29.3. As its title indicates, this release represents the first of three vinyl installments drawn from the Chronoscale project, a structure that reflects a broader approach to presenting the material across multiple physical releases rather than consolidating it into a single package.

The record sits within the electronic and trance genres and carries three tracks across its two sides. The A side is given entirely to "Final Emotion," which runs for seven minutes and forty-five seconds. The B side divides its space between two pieces: "Mindspring" at seven minutes and fifty seconds, and "Voller Sterne" at six minutes and thirty-one seconds. The German-language title of the closing track, which translates roughly to "Full of Stars," stands apart from the English-titled selections that surround it. Taken together, the three tracks account for just over twenty-two minutes of programming.

The split across three separate vinyl editions rather than a single release was a format choice that would have had practical implications for both distribution and collecting. Listeners or buyers interested in the complete Chronoscale project in vinyl form would need to seek out all three parts, with this release serving as the entry point into that sequence.

Euphonic, the label responsible for the release, is identified here without additional detail, and the draft does not speculate on the label's profile or its broader catalog. Similarly, no claims are made here regarding personnel, recording circumstances, or how the release was received. Those areas would require independent verification before appearing in a published entry.
