Released in 2006 on New State Recordings, "12\" X 12: New Order Vinyl Campaign" is a CDr compilation bringing together thirty-two tracks drawn from across New Order's catalog in remix form. The release spans a wide stylistic range, with genres listed including alternative rock, deep house, electro, electronic, house, pop, progressive house, rock, synth-pop, and techno — a breadth that reflects the varied roster of remixers assembled here.

The tracklist reaches back to some of the band's earliest material. "Blue Monday" appears in what is identified as its original 1983 version alongside a Hardfloor remix, while "Shellshock" receives a John Robie remix and "Thieves Like Us" is represented by a twelve-inch extended mix. Each of the thirty-two tracks runs to approximately two minutes, suggesting the compilation was assembled as a preview or sampler format rather than a document of complete remix versions. No catalog number is assigned to this release.
