New Order
Jetstream - Vinyl (2)

Listening notes

This 2005 release from Warner Music Denmark A/S presents two Tom Neville remixes of New Order's "Jetstream" on CDr format. The disc carries no catalog number and contains two tracks: the Tom Neville Remix, running seven minutes and thirty seconds, and the Tom Neville Remix Dub, clocking in at six minutes and thirty-seven seconds, for a combined runtime of just over fourteen minutes.

The release sits across several genre classifications, including Electro, Electro House, Electronic, Indie Pop, Pop, and Synth-pop, reflecting the broad stylistic territory New Order occupied during this period of their career. The two-track sequencing follows a recognizable promotional or DJ-oriented logic, pairing a full remix with a corresponding dub version, though the specific intended use or distribution context of this CDr is not confirmed by the available data.

The CDr format itself is worth noting for collectors and researchers. Distinct from commercially pressed CDs, CDr releases were frequently produced in small quantities for promotional, regional, or internal industry purposes, though no documentation here confirms which of those circumstances applies to this particular item. The Danish label attribution — Warner Music Denmark A/S — suggests a regional release within New Order's broader 2005 release activity around "Jetstream," but the precise relationship between this item and other formats or territories is not established by the facts at hand.

No catalog number is assigned to this release, which may complicate identification and cross-referencing for those building or verifying a discography. Researchers consulting this entry should treat the genre tags as applied metadata rather than verified editorial classification, and should seek additional sourcing to confirm distribution, pressing quantities, or any further personnel details beyond the Tom Neville remix credit.
