Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu & Junya Nakano
Final Fantasy X Vinyl

Listening notes

Released in 2021 under the Square Enix Music label, the Final Fantasy X vinyl (catalog number SQEX-10886~7) brings nineteen tracks from the game's soundtrack across four sides of a double LP. The score is credited to three composers — Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu, and Junya Nakano — and falls under the genres of soundtrack, stage and screen, and video game music.

The sequencing covers a wide range of the score's material. Side A opens with "Zanarkand" and moves through "Tidus's Theme," the vocal rock piece "Otherworld," "Battle Theme," and "Besaid." Side B carries seven tracks: "Hum Of The Fayth," "Phantoms," "Yuna's Theme," "Movement In Green," "The Sending," "Auron's Theme," and "Chocobo Jam." Side C presents four selections — "Rikku's Theme," "Assault," "Suteki Da Ne (Isn't It Wonderful?)," and "A Fleeting Dream" — before Side D closes the program with three combat-focused cues: "Fight With Seymour," "A Contest Of Aeons," and "Final Battle."

The tracklist draws from across the original game's score, touching on character themes, field music, and battle compositions in roughly the sequence in which they appear across the four sides. Track durations are not listed in the available documentation. No additional personnel, pressing details, or edition information beyond the label and catalog number are confirmed in the available data.

This is an unreviewed draft. The fact checker should verify composer credits per individual track if possible, confirm whether track durations are available from the label, and check for any variant pressings or regional editions not reflected here.
