Origin Unknown
Eastern Promise EP

Listening notes

Origin Unknown's Eastern Promise EP arrived on Liftin' Spirit Records in 2020, issued under catalog number ADMM58. The release presents four tracks across two sides of vinyl, organized around two distinct compositions, each offered in two mixes.

The A-side carries both versions of the title track, with "Eastern Promise (Mix 1)" at position A1 and "Eastern Promise (Mix 2)" at A2. The flip side, designated AA, pairs "Losing U (Mix 1)" and "Losing U (Mix 2)" in the same sequential arrangement. The dual-mix structure gives the EP a focused, deliberate shape, presenting each piece in two forms rather than spreading across a broader range of material.

Liftin' Spirit Records has a history within the breakbeat hardcore scene, and the Eastern Promise EP sits within the genres of breakbeat, electronic, and hardcore as catalogued for this release. Origin Unknown is a name associated with that broader landscape, and this 2020 vinyl issue represents a formal physical release under those genre designations.

Track durations are not listed for any of the four cuts, so the overall runtime of the record is not confirmed by available data. Beyond the tracklist, label, catalog number, format, and release year, the verified record for this EP does not extend to personnel, recording circumstances, or pressing details.

For collectors and researchers working with Liftin' Spirit Records releases or tracking Origin Unknown's discography, the Eastern Promise EP represents a documented 2020 vinyl entry under catalog number ADMM58. Any further detail about this release should be sourced and confirmed before inclusion in a finalized entry.
