Listening notes

OTR Soundsystem's OTR_Vinyl#001 was released in 2018 on Other Thoughts Records, carrying the catalog number OTRV001. The release is formatted as a vinyl record and sits within the electronic and tech house genres.

The record contains three tracks across its two sides. The A-side opens with "Modern Minstrelsy," followed by "Barrio." The B-side presents a single track, a remix of "Barrio" handled by Rich Nxt, credited here as "Barrio (Rich Nxt Remix)."

As the catalog number suggests, this appears to be the inaugural vinyl release from Other Thoughts Records, marking the label's entry into physical format with this particular project. The inclusion of a remix alongside original material is a common structural choice for dance music twelve-inches, giving the B-side a distinct identity while keeping the focus of the release on "Barrio" as a central work.

No duration information is available for any of the three tracks. Beyond what is documented here, details regarding recording personnel, production credits, or pressing specifications have not been verified and are not included in this entry.
