Painbringer
Vinyl Classics Volume I

Listening notes

Painbringer's "Vinyl Classics Volume I," released by Rave Instinct in 2020 under catalog number RID022, presents three tracks drawn from across a stretch of the artist's catalog. The release, issued in file format, sits within the Electronic and Hardcore genres.

The tracklist is organized around dated mixes rather than original release versions. "Hyped Up (2006 Mix)" opens the collection at five minutes and twenty-two seconds, followed by "Grave Spitter (2006 Mix)" at four minutes and nine seconds. The third track, "Back 2 Life (2008 Mix)," runs four minutes and forty-one seconds and carries a later mix date than the first two selections, suggesting the compilation draws from at least two distinct periods of work.

The "Vinyl Classics" designation in the title and the volume numbering indicate this was positioned as part of a series, though what additional volumes may exist falls outside the scope of the verified information here. The mix year annotations on each track are the primary organizational logic on display, offering listeners a loose chronological framing across the three selections.

At a combined runtime of just over fourteen minutes across three tracks, the release is a compact offering. Its file format distribution through Rave Instinct places it among digital releases from that label rather than in the physical format the title evokes.

The "Vinyl Classics" framing in the title has not been interpreted beyond its literal appearance in the verified data.
