Pleasurekraft, Matrixxman
Kraftek Vinyl Series Vol 2

Listening notes

Released in 2017 on the Kraftek label, the Kraftek Vinyl Series Vol 2 (catalog number KTKV02) brings together Pleasurekraft and Matrixxman across four tracks spanning the electronic, tech house, and techno genres. The release represents the second installment in Kraftek's dedicated vinyl series, presenting original material alongside reworked versions of two central tracks.

The A-side opens with "Tarantula (Pleasurekraft's 7 Year Itch Rework)" before presenting "Tarantula (Original Mix)," placing the rework ahead of the source material in the running order. This sequencing offers listeners a deliberate point of comparison between the two versions of the same track within a single side. The B-side follows a similar structure, leading with "The Spell (Pleasurekraft Remix)" and closing with "The Spell (Original Mix)." In both cases, the reworked or remixed interpretation precedes its original counterpart, a consistent organizational choice across the record.

The pairing of Pleasurekraft and Matrixxman under the Kraftek imprint situates the release within the label's ongoing effort to document its associated artists in a dedicated vinyl format. Kraftek, functioning as both a record label and an identity connected to Pleasurekraft, uses the vinyl series to present physical editions of material tied to its output. The inclusion of Matrixxman, a San Francisco-based producer with a presence in the techno and tech house scenes, adds a collaborative dimension to the series' second volume.

No durations are listed for any of the four tracks, and further details regarding personnel, mastering, or pressing specifications are not available from confirmed sources at this time. Fact checker should verify any additional credits or technical details before publication.
