Push
From Beyond (Album Vinyl Sampler)

Listening notes

Released in 2020 on Bonzai Classics, the From Beyond (Album Vinyl Sampler) by Push is a four-track vinyl release catalogued as BCV2020009. Spanning two sides, it presents a selection drawn from the electronic and trance genres that have long been associated with the artist and label.

Side A opens with "Elegance (Original Mix)" at 7:16, followed by "Tranzy State Of Mind (Club Mix)" at 7:27. Side B carries "Till We Meet Again (Album Mix)," the longest cut on the release at 8:33, and closes with "Cosmonautica (Original 12\" Mix)" at 7:04. The track durations collectively give the record a runtime suited to the extended format conventions common in club-oriented electronic music, where longer arrangements are standard practice.

The release functions explicitly as a sampler, as indicated by its title, suggesting it was intended to offer a preview of or companion to a broader album project. Bonzai Classics, the Belgian imprint responsible for this release, has maintained a catalog presence in the trance and electronic space over an extended period, making it a recognizable home for this kind of material.

The mix designations across the four tracks — Original Mix, Club Mix, Album Mix, and Original 12\" Mix — indicate that each track appears in a specific version rather than a uniform edit, which may be relevant for collectors or listeners tracking particular renditions of these titles.
