Push
From Beyond (Album Vinyl Sampler)

Listening notes

Released in 2020 on Bonzai Classics, the From Beyond (Album Vinyl Sampler) by Push is a four-track vinyl release catalogued as BCV2020009, sitting within the electronic and trance genres.

The record is structured across two sides. Side A opens with "Elegance (Original Mix)" at 7:16, followed by "Tranzy State Of Mind (Club Mix)" at 7:27. Side B presents "Till We Meet Again (Album Mix)," the longest cut at 8:33, and closes with "Cosmonautica (Original 12" Mix)" at 7:04. The total runtime across the four tracks runs to just over thirty minutes.

As the title indicates, this release functions as a sampler tied to the From Beyond album, offering a selection of that project's material in a vinyl format. The presence of mix designations — Original Mix, Club Mix, Album Mix, and Original 12" Mix — suggests the sampler draws from versions specifically prepared or adapted for their respective contexts, though the relationship between these versions and any other editions of the tracks is not detailed here.

Bonzai Classics, the releasing label, is a division associated with the Belgian Bonzai imprint, which has maintained a presence in the electronic music market across several decades. Push is an artist associated with that label's catalogue.

The release year of 2020 places this sampler within a period when vinyl was experiencing sustained commercial interest across multiple genres, including electronic music, though no specific sales or reception data for this release is available to this writer.

Collectors and listeners interested in Push's work within the trance and broader electronic space may find this sampler a useful point of entry into the From Beyond material in a physical format.
