Pye Corner Audio / Silent Servant / Not Waving
Ltd Edition Vinyl Only EP

Listening notes

Released in 2017 on the Ecstatic label, catalog number E031BLACK, this three-track vinyl EP brings together Pye Corner Audio, Silent Servant, and Not Waving across two sides. The release carries the straightforward designation "Ltd Edition Vinyl Only EP," a title that makes its format exclusivity explicit from the outset.

The tracklist consists of three untitled pieces: two on the A side and one on the B side. No durations are listed for any of the tracks. The genres associated with the release span abstract, EBM, and electronic, a range that reflects the varied backgrounds of the three contributors, each of whom operates within overlapping but distinct areas of experimental and industrial-adjacent music.

Ecstatic, the London-based label behind the release, has maintained a focused catalog oriented around electronic and experimental work. The catalog number E031BLACK places this EP within that sequence, with the suffix suggesting a specific variant designation, though no additional pressing details are available to confirm what that distinction entails beyond the vinyl-only framing already named in the title.

The decision to leave all three tracks untitled is worth noting as a structural choice, one that removes the possibility of using track names as interpretive anchors. Whether that reflects a deliberate artistic position shared among the three artists or a practical arrangement specific to this collaboration, the facts on hand do not say.

This is a limited edition vinyl release from 2017 featuring three artists working across abstract, EBM, and electronic genres, issued by Ecstatic with three untitled tracks. Those are the confirmed parameters of the release, and they are noted here without elaboration beyond what the available information supports.
