Regal (2) | Amelie Lens
Involve 020

Listening notes

Released in 2018 on Involve Records, catalog number INV020, this twelve-inch brings together Regal and Amelie Lens across four tracks spanning the acid, electronic, and techno genres.

The A-side opens with "Fenix," an original composition by Regal, followed by "Fenix (Amelie Lens Remix)," in which Lens takes her turn interpreting the material. The arrangement positions the original and its remix in direct succession, allowing listeners to encounter both versions within the same side of the record. The B-side mirrors this structure with "Render," another Regal original, paired with "Render (Regal Remix)," in which Regal returns to rework his own composition. The result is a release built around the exchange and reinterpretation of source material, with each artist contributing both original work and a remix across the two sides.

Involve Records, operating under the catalog prefix INV, reached its twentieth release with this entry, as indicated by the INV020 designation. The label's numbering places this release within a documented sequence, though no additional information about the label's history or roster is included here.

Regal is credited on Discogs under the identifier Regal (2) to distinguish this artist from others sharing the name. Amelie Lens, a Belgian artist, is credited for the remix appearing on the A-side. No additional personnel, production, or engineering credits are reflected in the available data.

Duration information for individual tracks was not available at the time of compilation and has been omitted accordingly. This draft should be reviewed against physical copies or supplementary documentation before publication.
