Robert Babicz
Immortal Changes - The Vinyl Edition (Part One)

Listening notes

Robert Babicz's "Immortal Changes - The Vinyl Edition (Part One)" was released in 2010 on Systematic (3) under catalog number SYST0065-6. Despite its name referencing a vinyl edition, the release exists in a file format, a detail worth noting for collectors and archivists navigating the label's catalog.

The release sits across the genres of Electronic, Minimal, and Tech House, situating it within the broader landscape of early 2010s European club music that Systematic (3) was known to operate within. Part One contains four tracks, suggesting the project was conceived as a multi-part release, though this draft does not extend beyond what is documented here.

The tracklist opens with "Chordy" at five minutes and fifty-eight seconds, followed by "Come Closer (Stimming Remix)" at six minutes and twenty-eight seconds. The presence of Stimming as a remixer is a documented fact; Stimming is a Hamburg-based artist and producer with his own profile within the electronic music community. The third track, "Dark Flower (Fever Remix)," runs to seven minutes and forty seconds, crediting a remixer identified as Fever. The release closes with "Someday" at seven minutes and forty-one seconds, the longest track on the release.

Across the four tracks, the total runtime is approximately twenty-seven minutes and forty-seven seconds. The two longest tracks anchor the second half of the sequence, and two of the four tracks are explicitly presented as remixes, indicating that the release functions in part as a remix package drawing on Babicz's source material.

Babicz, a German-Polish artist and producer, has maintained a consistent presence on Systematic (3) and related imprints. This release represents one documented entry in that ongoing relationship.
