Rosenstolz
Gib Mir Sonne (Vinyl 1)

Listening notes

Rosenstolz released "Gib Mir Sonne (Vinyl 1)" in 2008 through Island Records, catalogued under the number 06025-1781378-6. The release is a vinyl single presenting four remixes of the track "Gib Mir Sonne," spread across two sides, and is categorized under the genres of Electro, Electronic, and House.

The A-side carries two contributions from Martin Roth. The first is credited as the Nu Style Remix, and the second as the Nu Style Dub Remix, suggesting a relationship between the two versions that leans into the conventions of club-oriented formatting, where a vocal mix and a stripped instrumental or dub counterpart are paired together. The B-side offers two further interpretations. The first is a remix by Westbam, and the second is credited to Kid Chris. No track durations are listed in the available release data.

The designation "Vinyl 1" in the title implies that this pressing is part of a numbered series, indicating at least one additional vinyl release connected to the same song. This is a common approach for physical single campaigns, particularly in markets where multiple vinyl editions allowed for wider distribution of remix content across different formats or retailer categories.

Island Records, the releasing label, is an internationally recognized imprint with a broad and varied catalog. Its involvement here places the release within a mainstream commercial distribution framework, though no further detail about the specific regional market or pressing plant for this edition is available from the current data.

No track durations, matrix information, or additional personnel credits are confirmed in the available source material. Prospective contributors or researchers looking to expand this entry should verify those details independently before adding them to the database record.
