Rosenstolz
Gib Mir Sonne (Vinyl 2)

Listening notes

Rosenstolz's "Gib Mir Sonne (Vinyl 2)" is a 2008 vinyl release on Island Records, cataloged under 06025-1781379-3. Positioned as a remix package, the record collects four reworkings of the track "Gib Mir Sonne" across two sides, each credited to a distinct remixer and carrying its own subtitle.

Side A opens with DJ Divinity's Sonnenstrahlen RMX at position A1, followed by the Maringo Sonnenstich Mix at A2. Side B presents Justus Köhncke's version, subtitled "Kommt Mir Spanisch Vor" Disco Mix, at B1, and closes with Erix' Subcurrent Ibiza Club Mix at B2. The titling conventions — references to sunlight, Spanish idiom, and Ibiza — are embedded in the remix names themselves rather than in any additional sleeve documentation confirmed here.

The release is cataloged under the genres Electro, Electronic, and House, which situates it within the dance-oriented remix single format common to the period. As a second vinyl in what the title designation suggests is at least a two-part release series for the same track, the record appears intended to extend the song's reach across club-oriented formats and audiences, though the specific context of that series is not confirmed beyond what the title itself states.

No track durations are available in the verified data for this release. Personnel beyond the remixer credits embedded in the track titles are likewise unconfirmed here.

Collectors and researchers should note that this draft is based solely on catalog data and has not been verified against physical copies, label documentation, or additional discographical sources. A fact checker should confirm pressing details, any additional personnel credits, and whether further volumes in this release series exist before publication.
